Weekly update Oct 14.
This week was some what a normal week for me. Got to get back to my work out schedule this week with not interruptions. The only difference this week was, on Saturday, I normally do a short walk and then go to the gym. But it was raining really hard, so I skipped the walk.
I had two interesting things happen to me this week. The first was, on Friday, I woke up with my right leg and foot in a lot of pain. I have been have problems with my foot for a while now, but on Wednesday as I was finishing up my walk, I pulled the muscle in my left calf. So I resigned myself that I was going to take it easy today, and not walk. But as I am sitting there, my mind is telling me that I need to get up and walk, that I can not skip today. So I got up, got ready, and took it easy. I felt much better for getting it done.
The second was, I get asked a lot why I am doing the weight lose surgery. Last night, I somewhat saw my future. I love going to the movies, and I see a lot of them. We have our favorite theater that we go to, so we are somewhat regulars there. As we have gone, I have noticed a gentleman that is there a lot to. He stands out, because he is on a scooter and wears a muumuu. As we were leaving he was there right by the bathrooms. As I saw hm, I realize that if I did not continue on the path I am on now, that is my future. I don't want to end up that way.
I want a life that I can go out and do thing when I want and go where I want to go. My weight and my health has held me back. A few years ago, I was in Moab and was exploring new areas. I came across a beautiful spot, that would have looked good as a photo. But to get the right picture, I would have had to hike just a little bit to get just the right one. As I drove out of that canyon, I saw a lot of great shots. But because of my health, I missed them. You missed them. I need to do this so I can see these wonderful places and share them with everyone as well.
My weekly step count was over 35000 steps. That is an average of 5000 steps a day.
My weekly weight lose: 2.3 lbs. lost.

If we could give every individual the right amount of nourishment and exercise, not too little and not too much, we would have found the safest way to health.

BILL: YOU ARE FINDING YOUR "RIGHT AMONT" AND DOING TO WELL.
Someone ask Johnny Miller, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who was a professional Golfer way back when I was about your age, what is the difference now that you are profession golfer instead of just a good everyday golfer? his answer has stuck with me: "As a amature golfer I would go golfing when I felt like it, as a professional, I go golfing when I feel like it and when I don't feel like it, I go golfing tool"
